Role Overview

We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of key components of the Aspect Workflows platform, related developer tools, and Bazel open source. 

You’ll interface across the organization—collaborating with Engineering, Technical Program Managers, Developer Evangelism, Marketing and Sales —to define and deliver high-impact product initiatives that translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value.

This is a high-visibility role ideal for a technically fluent PM who enjoys working at the intersection of developer experience, infrastructure, and go-to-market execution.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and maintain a detailed product plan and roadmap aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
  • Translate product vision into actionable milestones, feature definitions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Prioritize work across multiple stakeholders to balance innovation, technical investment, and customer value.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Interface with Engineering to define requirements, clarify use cases, and ensure delivery of quality features.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Developer Evangelism to craft messaging, developer tutorials, and product positioning that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to collect feedback, understand enterprise requirements, and identify new opportunities for adoption.

Customer Value & Launch Execution

  • Translate technical features into clear customer benefits and user-facing narratives.
  • Draft product launch content, including release notes, blog posts, presentations, and demo scripts.
  • Drive successful go-to-market activities for new product capabilities, coordinating internal readiness across functions.

Product Insights & Feedback

  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, users, and open-source contributors to guide prioritization.
  • Monitor product usage, adoption, and retention metrics to inform iteration.
  • Advocate for developer experience and usability across all product surfaces.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management for developer tools, infrastructure platforms, or B2B SaaS products.
  • Strong technical fluency—able to engage meaningfully with engineers on architecture, APIs, and developer workflows.
  • Proven track record of driving product launches and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling product content.
  • Strong organizational skills and a data-informed approach to prioritization.

Preferred:

  • Experience with build systems (Bazel, Pants, Buck), CI/CD, or developer productivity tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or hybrid/self-hosted deployments.
  • Prior experience collaborating with Developer Relations or open-source communities.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
