Role Overview

As Marketing & Sales Operations Manager, you will own the systems, data, and processes that power Aspect Build’s go-to-market engine. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for administering and integrating our marketing and sales tools, measuring performance across the entire customer lifecycle, and turning data into insights that improve conversion, revenue, and retention.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, customer success, and finance. You’ll ensure that our prospect-to-customer journey is measurable, efficient, and continuously improving—from first touch and product adoption through expansion and long-term retention.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and administer core marketing and sales systems, including HubSpot, Scarf, Common Room, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter, and related tools
  • Design, maintain, and optimize the end-to-end funnel from awareness → engagement → first sale → upsell, cross-sell, and retention
  • Define lifecycle stages, lead scoring, routing, attribution, and handoffs between marketing, sales, and customer success
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all GTM systems
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to track pipeline health, conversion rates, ARR, expansion, churn, and cohort performance
  • Prepare monthly marketing and sales reports for the executive team and board, including insights, trends, and recommendations
  • Partner with marketing to measure campaign performance and ROI across channels
  • Partner with sales to improve pipeline velocity, forecasting, and deal hygiene
  • Partner with customer success to measure adoption, renewals, and expansion signals
  • Identify tooling gaps, evaluate new tools, and lead implementation as needed
  • Document processes and train team members on systems and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in marketing operations, sales operations, or revenue operations
  • Hands-on experience administering HubSpot (required)
  • Experience with developer-focused or product-led growth motions (strong plus)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Scarf, Common Room, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter, or similar data and community platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with funnels, cohorts, and attribution models
  • Experience preparing executive- and board-level reports with clear narratives
  • Excellent attention to detail and data quality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-growing startup environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or open source–driven businesses
  • Experience with subscription metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC, LTV)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, financial systems, or BI tools
  • Experience supporting customer expansion and retention motions
  • SQL, spreadsheet modeling, or light scripting experience
