Reporting to the Chief Evangelist and Co-founder, you’ll educate, inspire, and support developers using Bazel and Aspect tools through assistance with content, talks, demos, meetups, podcasts, webinars, and hands-on engagement at customer and prospect work sites.
This role blends technical depth with community building and product insight. You’ll work closely with the Chief Evangelist, marketing, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to grow adoption, trust, and enthusiasm for Aspect’s platform, support services, and Bazel open source projects.

- Support the Chief Evangelist to present and participate at conferences, meetups, the Aspect Insights podcasts, webinars, and community events (including BazelCon and local meetups)
- Build and maintain demos and example projects showcasing Aspect Build products and open source tooling
- Engage with developers on GitHub, Slack, Discord, Reddit, Quora, social platforms, and community forums
- Monitor the OSS triage dashboard and support answering pull requests (PRs) and questions using your own knowledge and working cross-functionally with the Aspect Build professional services and engineering teams.
- Monitor and provide leads to sales from Scarf, Common Room, Slack, and other tools.
- Make relevant updates and notes in HubSpot.
- Advocate for developers internally by sharing feedback, pain points, and insights with product and engineering teams.
- Support product marketing with technical narratives, demos, and educational materials
- Contribute to and maintain open source projects where appropriate.
- Help grow and nurture the Aspect Build and Bazel developer ecosystem.

- Comfort presenting live and engaging with developers in public forums
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems, monorepos, and modern developer workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed, curious, and comfortable working in a remote, fast-moving startup
